Romi Hurts is a Dutch songwriter, singer and arranger. She grew up with music, started playing the piano when she was six, started drumming at age 25 and has always been fond of puzzles and brain teasers. Her education has these two sides as well. She studied Econometrics & Operations Research, a mathematical study, studied music theory and composition at the Pro Music Training in Amsterdam and studied singing at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen.
In her music you will hear her love for soul, funky grooves, powerballads and for tasteful, clever arrangements.
